Johnathan, a senior at Northpoint High School, has truly embraced his journey with
Mountain Institute's programs. After enrolling in our welding program, he realized that
while he enjoyed the experience, it wasn’t quite the right fit. This year, he found his
passion in our Advanced Manufacturing Program, which he plans to pursue at Yavapai
College after graduation. Mountain Institute is proud to allow students like Johnathan to
explore different trades and find what truly excites them before they graduate.
Johnathan loves woodworking and working with his hands, saying, “There’s something
about clear cedar that gets me going.” He lives by an inspiring quote: “There are two
pains we must bear. The pain of self-discipline… or the pain of regret.” His journey is a
testament to the power of exploration and hands-on learning, and we’re excited to
support him as his success story unfolds!
