CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Our Construction Technologies Program provides students with hands on training in basic carpentry as it applies to residential construction. Students will be trained by experiencing hands on instruction in; carpentry safety, hand and power tool usage, measurement, plan reading, codes, blueprint reading, materials, and layout. They will master core carpentry skills in; safety, framing, foundations, basic concrete, roofing, window and door framing, blueprint reading, flooring, along with interior and exterior finishing.
Upon the completion of the program students will have the opportunity to obtain Yavapai College's Basic Carpentry Certificate and Plumbing Technician Certificate that can lead to immediate employment locally or nationally.

CREDITS
Up to 6 High School credits for both years and up to 24 Yavapai College credits for both years.
