CYBERSECURITY
PROGRAM SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in cybersecurity and network administration. Students learn to install, support, secure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and servers. In addition, students learn how to configure virtual private networks, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. This program helps prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certifications and provides a strong knowledge base to pursue advanced cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

CREDITS
• Yavapai College credits are earned after completing the semester with a passing grade (C or better).
• HS credits will be awarded at the end of each semester
• Up to 3.5 High School credits, and up to 14 YC credits may be earned upon successful completion of the one year program. If students complete the optional second year they will earn an additional 3.25 High School Credits and 13 YC Credits.

Location: Yavapai College's Prescott Campus
Class Schedule: 1 Year program with optional 2nd year / Semester classes
